Dr. Olanma Ojukwu to Spotlight Tourism at Arochukwu’s Prestigious Annual Conference

All Aro National Conference Set for Friday ,July 25, 2025 in Abia State 
Benin Republic-based travel consultant and Managing Director of GOTA Travel and Tours, Dr. Olanma Alvanis Ojukwu, will be making a major presentation on tourism at the 6th edition of the All Aro National Conference (Nzuko Aro). The high-profile annual gathering of sons and daughters of the historic Arochukwu Kingdom is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, in Abia State, Nigeria.

The conference, known for addressing cultural preservation and regional development, is convened by His Eminence, Eze Eberechukwu Oji, the traditional ruler of Arochukwu. This year’s edition will be chaired by Dr. Ozoemena Izuma, with Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, serving as the special guest of honour.

Ojukwu to Explore Tourism’s Role in Unity, Livelihood and Legacy
Dr. Ojukwu is slated to present a paper titled “Aro Tourism”, where she is expected to highlight the vital link between Aros in the Diaspora and those residing in the homeland. Her presentation will explore how tourism can serve as a bridge for cultural legacy, economic empowerment, and leadership renewal within the Aro community.

In a pre-conference chat with Africa Travel Herald, Dr. Ojukwu expressed gratitude to the King of Aro and the conference committee for the honour to speak at such an influential event. She said her goal is to inspire a tourism movement rooted in heritage, identity, and divine purpose.

“Some arrangements are done divinely… Returning all the glory to the Almighty God who has begun this great tourism move in my own village,” she remarked.

Distinguished Personalities to Grace Sixth Edition of Nzuko Aro
Themed “Aro Renaissance: Consolidating Gains and Charting New Frontiers for Aro Kingdom’s Unity, Peace and Development”, the 2025 edition of Nzuko Aro promises to be intellectually and culturally enriching. Delivering the keynote address will be Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, a highly respected Nigerian industrialist and thought leader.

The event brings together policymakers, traditional leaders, professionals, and the broader Arochukwu community from within and outside Nigeria. It aims to reflect on Aro’s historical journey while laying a fresh foundation for sustainable development through unity and innovation.

Dr. Olanma Ojukwu’s presence and her focus on heritage tourism adds a new dimension to this year’s discourse, potentially unlocking untapped cultural and economic value in Arochukwu’s ancient roots.
