The high-profile annual gathering of sons and daughters of the historic Arochukwu Kingdom is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, in Abia State, Nigeria.

The conference, known for addressing cultural preservation and regional development, is convened by His Eminence, Eze Eberechukwu Oji, the traditional ruler of Arochukwu. This year’s edition will be chaired by Dr. Ozoemena Izuma, with Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, serving as the special guest of honour.

Dr. Ojukwu is slated to present a paper titled “Aro Tourism”, where she is expected to highlight the vital link between Aros in the Diaspora and those residing in the homeland. Her presentation will explore how tourism can serve as a bridge for cultural legacy, economic empowerment, and leadership renewal within the Aro community.

In a pre-conference chat with Africa Travel Herald, Dr. Ojukwu expressed gratitude to the King of Aro and the conference committee for the honour to speak at such an influential event. She said her goal is to inspire a tourism movement rooted in heritage, identity, and divine purpose.

“Some arrangements are done divinely… Returning all the glory to the Almighty God who has begun this great tourism move in my own village,” she remarked.

Distinguished Personalities to Grace Sixth Edition of Nzuko Aro
Themed “Aro Renaissance: Consolidating Gains and Charting New Frontiers for Aro Kingdom’s Unity, Peace and Development”, the 2025 edition of Nzuko Aro promises to be intellectually and culturally enriching.
