Ethiopian Ministry of Tourism Partners with Africa Celebrates for 2025 Cultural Showcase

The Ethiopian Ministry of Tourism has officially announced its partnership with Africa Celebrates for the 2025 edition of the renowned cultural and creative industries showcase. This collaboration marks a major milestone in Ethiopia’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a hub for culture, heritage, and tourism on the African continent.

Africa Celebrates 2025, set to take place in Addis Ababa later this year, will bring together artists, designers, chefs, performers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from across Africa and the diaspora. The event is expected to highlight the continent’s diverse cultural heritage, creative innovation, and sustainable tourism opportunities.

Minister of Tourism, H.E. Nasise Challi, emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating, “Ethiopia is proud to host Africa Celebrates 2025. Our country is home to ancient civilizations, vibrant traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Partnering with this pan-African initiative will allow us to share our story with the world while strengthening regional cooperation and boosting our creative economy.”

The event will feature fashion shows, music performances, cultural exhibitions, gastronomy showcases, investment forums, and youth innovation hubs — all geared toward fostering intra-African collaboration and promoting tourism and trade.
